On March, 15th 2011: Tickets for the Olympic games of 2012 in London already have gone on sale worldwide. From March, 15th till April, 26th, 2011 inhabitants of Great Britain and EU can make an application on acquisition of tickets. 6,6 million tickets will go on sale already on March, 15th.
In Russia will be responsible for sale of tickets for the Olympic Games in London Organizing committee of XXII Olympic winter games and XI Paralimpijsky winter games of 2014 in a city of Sochi (an official site www.sochi2014.com).
Inhabitants of Great Britain and EU can submit demands for acquisition of tickets for a site www.tickets.london2012.com within 42 days. The first priority principle doesn't operate at giving of demands, therefore at those who has made an application before the others, there will be no advantages at distribution of tickets.
Since March, 15th, 2011 tickets and rounds with residing can be got at travel agency Thomas Cook offices, and also on its official site www.thomascooklondon2012.com.
In the beginning of 2011 the London Organizing committee of the Olympic and Paralimpijsky games (The London Organising Committee of the Olympic Games and Paralympic Games - LOCOG) has published the schedule of sports actions which consists of 645 stages of competitions on 26 Olympic sports. Competitions will pass in traditional places of London, such as area Horse guards Parade (beach volleyball), Wembley (football), the Greenwich park (riding and a modern pentathlon), the London stadium for cricket (shooting from onions), and also on new sports objects which at the moment are in process of building in the Olympic park in the east of London.
The chairman of the London Organizing committee on preparation for the Olympic and Paralimpijsky games of Sebastjan Koe (Sebastian Coe) has declared: "It is an important point for all participants of the Olympic Games in London in 2012. This beginning of travel for those who dreamed to receive the ticket for the Olympic games from the date of when London has been chosen by a venue of games. In Great Britain all interested persons have 42 days to make an application on acquisition of tickets, and I urge you to learn, what sports will pass those or other days, and to make the choice. If demand for competitions of any stages exceeds the offer, we will spend a toss-up because in our opinion it is the most fair way of distribution of tickets».
Competitions will pass on sports objects both in line, and outside of London. For example, Weymouth and Portlend become base for sailing, in Essex will pass competitions on a mountain mountain bike, and football matches will pass at the stadiums located on all territory of Great Britain, including Old Trafford in Manchstere, Hempden park in Glasgow and stadium the Millennium in Cardiff.
